Park Yoo Chun records songs for his first solo mini album.

Park Yoo Chun is off the hook after the woman who filed rape charges against him dropped the complaints on June 15. The police was not aware of the woman's plan to withdraw the case but the authorities later confirmed it after receiving the formal request.

The investigators relayed that the woman who was only identified as Ms. Lee, changed her statements and withdrew the charges. The woman stated that she was not in any way coerced into dropping the case, MBN Star reported.

Lee's boyfriend explained that they filed the case because he was so mad when he found out that an "accident" happened while his girlfriend was drunk. He also admitted that it was their fault that such scandal broke out because they acted in haste, without checking the whole situation first.

The boyfriend added that their side did not want outsiders to know they filed the rape charges against Park, but it was picked up by the media and the situation got out of control. He revealed that his girlfriend is currently in state of shock as a great number of people are bashing her online.

On June 10, Lee's boyfriend went to Gangnam Police Station and charged Park with sexual assault. In the complaint, Lee claimed that the singer raped her in the bathroom of an adult establishment where they were drinking in the wee hours of June 4.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee changed her statements as she backed out from the case. She confessed that she did not feel good when Park and his friends seem to think little of her after the sexual encounter and that was what prompted her to report the singer to the police.

"When I came back home, I thought Park treated me lightly as well when we had sex, so I filed the case," Lee said.

While it is true that Lee personally retracted the case by admitting that the sex with Park was consensual, the Youth and Women's desk has yet to decide whether to stop or proceed with their investigation. At this point, the case is on hold. .

Park is still serving the army as a desk officer in Seoul. He is expected to be discharged in first half of 2017.
