Initial rumors hinted that the American tech conglomerate is delaying Surface Pro 5 release from late 2016 to spring of 2017.

According to reports, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has received a huge discount.

Microsoft Store is selling Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (256GB, Intel Core i5) for $1,199. The initial price of the Microsoft device is $1,299.

In addition, buyers can now purchase the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (128GB, Intel Core m3) for $849. The initial price of the device is $899.

Customers can buy the discounted variants from Microsoft Store with free shipping service. People will also get 1-year limited manufacturer warranty.

According to Digital Trends, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a 12.3-inch PixelSense screen with a resolution of 2,736 x 1,824 pixels.

Each one of the variants is powered by Intel Core i7, i5 or m3 processor. The Microsoft device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Surface connect, cover port, mini displayport and USB 3.0 headphone jack.

Furthermore, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper and an 8-megapixel rear-facing shooter. Windows 10 Pro runs the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 out of the box.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that the tech giant Microsoft will launch Surface Pro 5 in 2017. However, some reports suggest that the tech company will release the Surface Pro 5 in October 2016.

A 2017 launch period is doing the rounds as it is believed that the new Surface Pro will be launched once the Redstone 2 gets rolled out. According to several reports, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come with a Kaby Lake processor. There are speculations that the new processor will become available next year.
