Although “Descendants of the Sun” actors Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo did not admit any romantic relationship between them at Friday’s fan meet in Chengdu, followers of the couple were nevertheless happy seeing them together since the 52nd Baeksang Art Awards two weeks ago.

Consistent with the actor’s previous statements that he would keep his love life away from the limelight to protect the woman he loves, Song Joong-ki kept mum about the affairs of his heart. However, he played mini-games, hosted mini talk shows and gazed into the eyes of Song Hye Kyo, reported Soompi.

Those things were more than enough to make their Chinese fans happy and keep their hopes that the relationship is being kept secret as many want to believe.

For her part, the actress shared that she is aware, through the internet and news articles, of Song Joong-ki’s popularity. However, “actually coming here and seeing this for myself makes me feel happier and more nervous than him,” Song Hye Kyo said.

Song Joong-ki pointed out that the fan’s reaction was not that welcoming when Lee Kwang Soo was his special guest last week at the Hong Kong fan meet. He added it is his first time to see the actress in China.

She disclosed that before they worked together in the 16-episode Hallyu drama, she looked forward to meeting her co-star because she had heard a lot of people say that the actor is a very nice person. “He did not let down my expectations. He was even better than the image I had in mind. During the shoot, I realized that he is a very sincere person. He is a cool friend,” AllKpop quoted the actress.

Next week ends the China leg of Song Joong-ki’s Asian tour in Taiwan. His fans in other Asian countries are waiting for Blossom Entertainment’s announcement of other countries he will visit where fans hope it is there where Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo would admit they are a romantic pair.
