Agyness Deyn plays Hannah in the György Dragomán’s novel adaptation, "The White King."

"The White King" launched a poster this week ahead of the film's world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on June 18, Saturday. Based on György Dragomán's novel, the movie is a story of a young boy and his mother struggling in a totalitarian state. It stars Jonathan Pryce, Agyness Deyn and Lorenzo Allchurch.

"The White King" adapts the internationally acclaimed Hungarian novel with the same title. Filming was done entirely in Hungary. The award winning Dragoman story is about the lives of a 12-year-old boy, Djata (Allchurch) and his family. His father was imprisoned by the totalitarian state so he and his mother (Deyn) are forced to explore the space of abuse, propaganda and gang, risking their lives to reunite their family.

Aside from the poster, a teaser trailer was released on June 17, Friday, a day prior to its world premiere at EIFF. It is directed by Alex Helfrech and Jörg Tittel, who worked together in the 2012 "The Sip." They are back as a duo for "The White King" which is their feature film directorial debut.

Allchurch is also introduced in the film. Joining him, Deyn and Pryce are Olivia Williams, Greta Scacchi, Fiona Shaw and Olafur Darri Olafsson.

On her part, Deyn plays the central role of Hannah, as she continues to build her acting career. She graced the catwalk at the age 24 in 2007 and had been a cover of Vogue as among the World's "Next Top Models."

It was in 2010 that she tried acting, debuting in the "Clash of the Titans." Roles then keep coming for the English actress which she enjoyed.

"I was just yearning for something and didn't know what it was, so I was just trying different things," she told The Scotsman. "And then I did some short films and I was like, 'this is it! This is what I have to do!'"

The 33-year-old supermodel-turned actress has a thirst for enjoyment. She just loves to do it all the time if she loves something, she previously told The Telegraph. The actress still gets offers for modeling but she is just doing a bit of it for fun.

Deyn said if she comes back to modeling, she feels like giving up. It is just like waiting in line for something and leaving the queue. She might miss going in.

Here is the trailer of Deyn's new movie.
