'Deadpool' is a 2016 American superhero comedy film directed by Tim Miller, produced by Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner, and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

Ed Skrein, 33, has dropped yet another big news, as he confirmed that there will be a sequel to the highly successful superhero film, "Deadpool." Recently, the English rapper-actor spilled some beans about what is next for Francis Freeman aka Ajax and the other Marvel villains lined up for the much-awaited sequel.

With "Deadpool 2" already in production with Ryan Reynolds and Morena Baccarin back on board, Skrein revealed in an interview with Express Online that Ajax could be back for future instalments.

"He [Ajax] does come back... with an all-singing, all-dancing suit. They think he's been dead for five years," Skrein said, while pointing out humorously that he is a super villain, and super villains do not give up that easy.

The London-born actor goes ahead to gush the possibility of Ajax returning in the sequel, as one of the other villains with some prosthetics and a mask. In another interview with Metro, Skrein further pointed out that even though Ajax will not return in "Deadpool 2" or 3, there is a high chance that fans will get to see the actor reprise his menacing villain role in "Deadpool 12."

He then confesses that he is a huge fan of the Marvel Universe and "Deadpool", particularly. It can be recalled that Ajax was executed by Wade Wilson aka Deadpool (Reynolds) by shooting him in the head after the latter got enraged when he found out that there was no cure for his disfigurement.

Skrein then stressed that he is not sad about only getting one appearance in the franchise. With his vast knowledge of the Marvel Universe, the actor named a certain supervillain that he wants to be the new anti-hero to take on Deadpool, Taskmaster.

The said supervillain is known in the Marvel Universe as one that can impersonate his adversaries' fighting style, thoroughly studying it and use it against them. Skrein described the Taskmaster as a mercenary without morals, stressing that seeing the Taskmaster and Wade Wilson/Deadpool together would be phenomenal.

Nonetheless, "Deadpool" is considered as the highest grossing R-rated and X-men film of all time, grossing over $775 million worldwide following the time when it was released in theaters on Feb. 12. Shortly after its blockbuster success, Fox confirmed the sequel's development in mid-April with T. J. Miller, Jed Reese, Wernick, and Reynolds returning.

While nothing has been officially set in stone yet, producer Simon Kinberg has previously talked about the possibility of "Deadpool 2" crossover featuring Spider-Man. Check out the Skrein's interview below:
