The Warzone Firefight update of "Halo 5: Guardians" will be releasing new maps, features and a campaign score attack mode. Aside from these additions, new weapon skins, achievements, vehicles and armors, and a new canvas for its forge toolkit will also be included.
343 Industries revealed several information about the previously announced Warzone Firefight multiplayer mode of "Halo 5." Some of these details includes unveiling of one of its new maps.
One of the new maps included in the game update is called Prospect, which is set in a mining facility. The location offers components like scaffolding which can be used for sniping positions and dugout locations which can be utilized for both cover up and up-close action, Polygon reported.
When in Prospect, players are immediately dropped to the location and are required to attack the defenders residing in the area. To easily gain advantage, players can utilize various flank paths hidden in the terrain. These paths are rich in scaffoldings and trenches which they players can use both as their line of defense and offense, MS Power User reported.
The same report added that there are more available options for players in terms of defending the Core. Unlike before, players can now focus on power weapons and easily infiltrate the area, or they can try to breach the gates first to allow ground troops to penetrate. Aside from the new map, the update is also set to release a new Forge map editing canvas called Tidal.
Warzone Firefight is a new multiplayer mode update which lets up to 8 players cooperate to work together to accomplish five rounds of game that increases in difficulty and varies in objectives as each round progresses. It also brings a score attack to the game which allows players to collect points enough to claim up to 50 medals.
Out of the three announced new multiplayer maps, only Prospect has been given in detail as of the moment. It is expected the remaining two maps will also be unveiled and details will be given in the coming weeks.
