Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan attend the UK Premiere of 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' at Odeon Leicester Square on February 12, 2015 in London, England.

Amidst the filming of "Fifty Shades Darker," stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are reportedly avoiding each other for the welfare of his wife, Amelia Warner. The lead stars steamy scenes are reportedly the reason, and Dornan apparently thinks that it is better to quit the franchise rather than letting his wife's health suffer due to postpartum depression.

Dornan and Dakota had wrapped up their scenes immediately because the Irish actor fears that it could do more harm to his wife. He is reportedly willing to give up his role as the popular Christian Grey for Warren, who had just given birth to their second child two months ago.

Contrary to the initial reports, the production of "Fifty Shades Darker" was reportedly keeping the actor-musician and the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson's hot scenes in private. This was done to avoid giving Warren so much stress that could lead to the medical disorder.

There were reports claiming Dornan and Johnson's scenes were  in trouble after the former has gone cold with his leading lady in the highly anticipated sequel based on E.L. James' erotic romance novel. The problem with Dornan avoiding Johnson was not only limited to their off-screen relationship, but it could pose a threat to their on-screen chemistry.

The film stars could not afford to fail the second installment given that the first one scored 570 million sales in the United States alone. Now, Dornan and Johnson face a greater challenge of surpassing the first installment with their fans high expectations of the movie.

Early in June, Dornan was seen spending more time with his wife during breaks from filming the film series in Vancouver, Canada, Daily Mail reported. The actor went biking with Warren along Coal Harbour Quay, then they also spent time soaking up under the sun as they rested on the beach. In May, they were also spotted on a date night in the city.

It is uncertain if Dornan and Warner were dealing with some marital problems amidst  the filming of the movie. The couple has been very protective of their privacy ever since.

In other news, the intimate scenes of Dornan with Johnson added fuel to the fire that they were having an affair. The speculations came following Johnson's split with her boyfriend of two years, Matthew Hitt. The two broke up reportedly due to their busy schedules as she has been filming the "Fifty Shades" trilogy in Canada, Just Jared reported.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated for a February 2017 release. Despite the controversies, Dornan and Warner have not addressed the rumors of their marriage. The third installment is also currently on the roll, which is set for 2018 premiere.
