Is Grimm coming to an end after Season 6?

"Grimm" Season 6 is set to premiere on Friday, October 28. Bitsie Tulloch, who plays Eve/Juliette on the hit NBC series, confirmed the show's return date in a recent Facebook Live video.

According to Cartermatt, "Grimm" Season 6 will have at least thirteen episodes. The outlet also backed Tulloch's claim that the show will return on October 28 based on its season premiere history. The publication also said that fans should pay close attention to the airing schedule for Season 6 as it could determine NBC's long-term plans for the series.

"If they opt to release episodes every week, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, it will suggest more that they are just burning through the stories. If they are more patient in how they choose to air them, it may mean that they are looking to keep the show around a while," the outlet explained.

With the 13-episode order, multiple reports claimed that "Grimm" may end up getting cancelled after Season 6. Some even said that fans are growing tired of the show's repetitive and slow-paced storyline.

In an interview with TV Insider, David Giuntoli, who plays Nick Burkhardt on the show, admitted that Season 6 may just be the show's last season. He pointed out network TV shows only usually run up to six seasons. Giuntoli, however, also shared that they have heard rumors that "Grimm" may end up getting renewed for two more seasons. Either way, he promised fans that they will give them a satisfying finale.

"Nothing lasts forever. But here's the exciting thing about that: Our writers will be able to give us a really cool ending. We have time to wrap it up in a wonderful, perfect way, for all of our characters. We will go out big and we will go out strong," Giuntoli said.

The actor also said that fans should not worry too much about the 13-episode order for "Grimm" Season 6. He pointed out that NBC could end up requesting for more episodes, and they could eventually wrap up the series with 15 or 18 episodes.

"Grimm" Season 6 premieres October 28 on NBC. Tune in for more spoilers and updates.
