People usually have no idea about a situation unless they undergo such themselves and that exactly what happened to "The Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel on miscarriage. Frankel suffered a miscarriage before her separation from Jason Hoppy.
Miscarriages could be common and women who experienced them may not say anything. The Bravo star admitted her miscarriage was a negative time in her household but did not want anyone to know.
"I definitely felt like I went through that alone," Frankel told Entertainment Tonight in an emotional interview. As for letting others know about what went on with her marriage, she said, "I sort of just marketed to myself as that was not meant to be because it would have made things even more difficult than they already were."
The Skinnygirl founder who recently underwent myomectomy for large fibroids, believes that her fibroids and cysts contributed to her miscarriage and "bleeding issues." The "RHONY" star had developed pelvic cramping as well as out of control bleeding over the past year which required emergency room visits.
Frankel's uterine fibroid diagnosed in 2013 recently required immediate attention. The reality star lost 10 percent of blood, her uterus doubled in size and her fibroids grew bigger, she told PEOPLE.
Frankel felt that most topics people talked about on TV were not health or female issues but money, sex life, infidelity and all. Women are just quite shameful that they hide things and usually do not even talk about female medical issues to each other.
Since her separation from Hoppy in 2012, Frankel is putting her personal health and drama behind and is now happy with New York City banker Dennis Shields. The 45-year-old star shared her personal life is now having a great balance and that she is happy.
Frankel has a daughter, Bryn, who was born in May 2010. She admitted she is a hopeless romantic who believes in happily ever after. However, she does not like the idea of legal marriage, prenup, document or contracts. Though a strong believer of love, she is aware that she sucks at relationships and hopes that one day, she will not anymore.
