Team Ninja's "NiOh" will be getting new weapons, monsters and other features for players to try out when the game is released. The game's difficulty will also be enhanced to make it more challenging for them.

According to Dual Shockers, they have learned that there are now three new guardian spirits, which are the bull Fuseushi, the bird Daibawashi, and the shark Isonade. There will new stages that the game's protagonist, William, fight in like the ruins of Dazaifu, and the fields of Kareta Susuki. He can also wield new weapons like the dual wield Katana and Wakizashi, and the Tanegashima matchlock rifle.

Since the release of the alpha demo of the game, the game developer has promised that they are not going to make the game any easier for the players. They will not add anything to the gameplay to make the enemies any easier or make the player's character stronger, but they will change some aspects of the game to give it some challenge. According to Gamespot, some demo testers complained that it was too difficult, but the majority of the feedback was positive, and the development team is learning from them.

It was also revealed that there will a few famous Japanese monsters that will make their appearance in the game, like the Nurikabe, the Mukoromusha, the Hinoenma, the Nue, the Onyudo, the Onibi, and the Onryoki. There is also the Kappa, which is a special monster since it will carry a large amount of game currency called the Amrita, but it will run away to get away from the player if they will not defeat it right away.

The game developers also revealed that the mysterious ninja that was just named Hanzo in the previous reveals was now called Hattori Hanzo, which was a famous historical figure and general in the service of Tokugawa Iieyasu. They also revealed how the bow worked in the game, which has the ability to get headshots against enemies, how enemies and bosses might drop any equipment useful for battle, the battle axe to fight off enemies, and the giant umibozu.
