Halo Wars 2 second beta version will soon be available for the gamers. The news is confirmed by Microsoft, however, date of release is not mentioned yet. A new mode is also promised.
Halo Wars 2 first beta was a success though many missed out to try. The new beta version of Halo War 2 is another chance to play the game before its official 2017 release.
A representative of Microsoft told that the beta is "closer to launch" Attack Of The Fanboy reported. The version will be available for both Xbox One and PC with an additional mode. In the first beta version of the game, deathmatch and domination modes were present, but this time, there will be more. Both the previous modes were multiplayer. This time, the new mode is not mentioned.
The first beta of the game ran from June, 13 to June, 23 but exact date of the second beta is not quite known. The launch will disclose a lot about the original version.
Halo Wars 2 is an anywhere-play game. The game will be available for both PC and Xbox One. This means, if you are purchasing a digital version of the game for PC, you will also be given the Xbox One version of the game.
Halo Wars 2 will open up to a huge new audience due to its changed gameplay. The team will face some challenge in satisfying the appetite of the veteran player, Gamesutra pointed out. Creative Assembly's Alistair Hope mentioned in his statement, "'Real time strategy' on console is a little unusual, but I think the original control scheme did a really good job."
The head of strategy games, Dan Ayoub also mentioned, "We've got everything from your hardcore real-time strategy mode, which is what you can expect if you've been playing real-time strategy games for years, all the way over to the other extreme with a mode called 'Blitz. '"
Halo Wars 2 release date was previously fixed in 2016 but now the game is about to release on February 21, 2017, Gamespot reported.
