South Korean actor Jin Goo has taken the "Shoot for Love" challenge to raise childhood cancer awareness. In a bid to raise a huge amount of money for the fight against childhood cancer, the 35-year-old star took the impossible challenge on June23, Thursday at the Goyan Gym in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Entitled the "Shoot for Love Impossible Mission," Jin must shoot a ball from the highest level of the said gym, which is around 50 meters off from the basket, All K-pop reported. The publication notes that the entire funds will apparently be donated to support childhood cancer patients, given that the actor succeeds. It is considered as the most difficult challenge to date.

"It is said that if children with cancer are able to get timely treatment, their survival rate will reach 80 percent," Jin stated to Soompi. "I ask for your interest [on this issue] so that children don't lose their lives from failing to get treatment due to financial reasons and that we do not stop until [the children] can get treatment."

The actor proceeded to express that those struggling with childhood cancer must remain strong. While it is no news that Jin is a devoted fanatic of the Goyang Orions, the result of the impossible challenge is yet to be seen. Nonetheless, earlier reports claimed that Jin's result will be uncovered through a video on the "Shoot For Love" official Facebook page on June 28 at 9 P.M. KST.

It can be recalled that Jin catapulted to international fame after starring as Sergeant Major Seo Dae Young in the critically and commercially successful KBS' series, "Descendants of the Sun." Meanwhile, Jin will make his next big screen appearance in "One Line," an upcoming criminal-action film directed by Yang Kyung Mo.

"One Line," which also stars ZE:A's Siwan, is a film noir focusing on college students involved in a major case of insurance fraud. It will also star Park Byung Eun, Kim Sun Young, Lee Dong Hwi, Jo Woo Jin, Park Jong-Hwan and An Se-Ha. The upcoming film will be backed up and distributed by Next Entertainment World (N.E.W.), while MiiN Pictures are handling the production duties.
