Recent reports indicate that the Microsoft Surface Phone and Surface Pro 5 will be launched in 2017.

There are speculations that the Surface Phone will sport massive specs as the device will be aimed to be a smartphone for business purposes.

According to many reports, the Redmond giant is planning to market the smartphone as a enterprise and business type of smartphone.

It suggests that the future Windows 10 phones will likely be high end devices such as the HP Elite X3 that are costly and not distributed via regular commercial channels.

It is said that the upcoming Surface Phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 830 processor, BGR reported. Three different variants of the Surface Phone will be there and each variant will target a particular market group.

Speculations are making the rounds that there will be an enterprise version of the device with 512 GB internal storage and 8 GB of RAM.

Some of the other rumored features of the Microsoft Surface Phone include a 21 megapixels Carl Zeiss lens and external QWERTY keyboard and kickstand.

Also, new reports indicate that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be launched in March 2017. The tablet was supposedly releasing this year; however, its launch date was pushed back due to many reasons.

The software company is waiting for the Kaby Lake processors and it is believed that the processors will be launched this fall. Furthermore, the company is still timing the release of a big update to the Windows 10 OS that was believed to be coming around fall this year.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to have a better battery capacity. Surface Pen for the device will pack a rechargeable battery, CNET reported.

Also, the Surface Pro 5 will feature audio jack, microSD card slot and Mini DisplayPort for video.
