"Star Trek Into Darkness" Benedict Cumberbatch weds fiancée Sophie Hunter, the Sun reported. The newly hitched Mr. and Mrs. Cumberbatch are also photographed and published in the Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail front pages.

"The clue that confirmed our investigations was a legal letter addressed to the Sun telling us that a private function is to take place at the reception venue on Valentines day and that our photographers are banned," Andy Crick of the Sun wrote.

The 38-year-old Sherlock, apparently, emailed their wedding invitations to guests, instead of sending it by post so as to keep the event a secret, the Daily Mail reported.

On Feb. 14, Cumberbatch and Hunter exchanged vows at St. Peter and St. Paul Church in Mottistone, England.

Mottistone is on the Isle of Wight, the largest island of England and the home of famous poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson and Queen Victoria.

In an approximate, 40 guests were spotted arriving at the medieval church on Valentine's Day together with a number of limousines surrounding the Mottistine estate.

"It's a beautiful setting and very old English, very pretty and quaint," a local told the People Magazine. "The church is not huge... I would say that maybe only a maximum of 100 people would fit in there," another local added.

The couple reportedly did not make use of the church's organist to play during the wedding ceremony. Locals, however, have confirmed that they did not hire Mottistone baker and the church's resident florist.

In January, Cumberbatch has shared to the Telegraph that the wedding with pregnant fiancée Hunter is still "a long way off".
