"Girl Meets World" season 3 will continue to put Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya's (Sabrina Carpenter) friendship to the test.
Just recently, the writers of the hit Disney Channel sitcom updated fans on Twitter regarding the direction that they will take in the upcoming episodes.
One post confirmed that the next five episodes of "Girl Meets World" season 3 will focus on the two best friends.
"Triangle: 7:30 before Babysitting. For the next five episodes join us as we explore the potential of best friends. Everyone should have one."
Another post also tackled the concept behind the controversial storyline Triangle.
Throughout the past couple of months, the creators and writers of "Girl Meets World" have clarified that triangle doesn't only refer to love.
"Influence has been the only triangle. There's me, and you, and what I become because I love you. People change people. And change them back," the tweet read.
Meanwhile, the writers of "Girl Meets World" will also host a Q&A session with the fans of the show. However, details about this online conversation haven't been disclosed yet.
In other news, Friday night's episode of "Girl Meets World" centered on Lucas making a decision between Riley and Maya. However, fans were extermely disappointed because the male character wasn't able to make up his mind by the end of the episode.
Executive producer Michael Jacobs previously said that the love triangle between the three characters will be resolved in season 3. And since there are still a few episodes left from this season, it's possible that the love triangle issue won't be resolved until the finale.
"Girl Meets World" season 3 airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. on Disney Channel.
