It was just in April when the hit spinoff prequel, "Better Call Saul," concluded its second season, and since "Better Call Saul" Season 3 is already confirmed, recent reports are pointing to a possible heightened rivalry between Jimmy (played by Bob Odenkirk) and Chuck (played by Michael McKean).
It can be remembered that "Better Call Saul" Season 2 showed how Chuck managed to make Jimmy confess about his manipulation relating to the Mesa Verde Files. As a result, Chuck now has valuable information that he could use to blackmail his brother in the future. It was also said that Chuck was shown to be an older brother that has no love for his younger brother, and that he does not care whether Jimmy's life would go to waste.
According to reports, McKean exposed why Chuck will always find a way to make his younger brother's life miserable. The actor said that Chuck could be jealous about Jimmy, given that his younger brother is the favorite son of their mother. McKean added that Chuck is good at hiding his real motives by appearing like he cares about Jimmy, when in reality he really does not, Vine Report has learned.
The same publication also cited a possible storyline of "Better Call Saul" Season 3, relating to the backstory of Jimmy's girlfriend, Kim Wexler, played by Rhea Seehorn. It was said that the backstory will expose Kim's secrets. This will also allow the supporters of the show to know more about the character, and learn that she is much more complicated than what she appears to be. The upcoming "Better Call Saul" Season 3 is also going to feature Kim's strong intimate interest to Jimmy.
Meanwhile, Gennifer Hutchison, the writer of the show shared how the writers' team collaborated in order to come up with excellent storylines of "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul." Hutchison said that Vince and Peter were able to lift the intensity of the writers to participate more, Yahoo reported.
Reports are loud that "Better Call Saul" Season 3 is going to be on the small screen by early next year.
