The Cast of Teen Wolf, Crystal Reed, Tyler Hoechlin, Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, and Holland Roden receive the Best Ensemble Award on stage at the CW Network's 2013 Young Hollywood Awards on August 1, 2013 in Santa Monica, California.

Fans are looking forward to more "Teen Wolf" Season 6 updates after one of the lead stars  Dylan O'Brien met an accident in March while shooting for "Maze Runner 3" in Canada. The good news is that O'Brien may return to the series, but the bad news is that Tyler Hoechlin confirmed that he will not be anymore part of the MTV's supernatural teen drama television series.

There have been rumors that the character of Stiles Stilinski (O'Brien) will be taken over by another actor. However, the show's creator Jeff Davis was quick to address the speculations by hinting that "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will revolve around "Stydia" love affair. "Stydia" was meant to refer to Stilinski's new love interest Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) in the upcoming season.

"No, we aren't replacing Stiles," Davis said in an interview with Creative 132. "Dylan O'Brien will be back to film soon." Davis further explained that O'Brien cannot do any stunts despite his wish to return to the show as soon as possible.

As per the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 teasers, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and Stilinski will be renewing the friendship they lost in Season 5. The showrunner also teased that fans should expect an old-fashioned monster movie like a ghost story. Memory would also play a huge part in Season 6.

As fans expect the return of O'Brien in the new season, Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) confirmed that he would not be coming back to reprise his role. Hoechlin clarified that one reason for his departure from the show is the conflicting schedule for "Fifty Shades Darker," where he plays the character of Anastasia Steel's boyfriend.

Hoechlin's demise from"Teen Wolf" Season 6 was also due to his new project where he will be portraying the role of Superman in the CW program "Supergirl," Entertianment Weekly reported. The actor will take the role of Clark Kent, also known as Superman in the first two episodes of the series.

Hoechlin will join the bandwagon of actors who have luckily portrayed the iconic superhero role such as Christopher Reeve, George reeves, Dean Cain, Tom Welling, Brandon Routh and Henry Cavill. The news coincides with the transfer of "Supergirl" from CBS to CW.
