Samsung’s Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 now available in China with detailed specifications revealed

It is official that Samsung Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 can now be purchased in China with their detailed specifications revealed. Both are made of all metal with a slim build and have Samsung Pay support that works with the local AliPay service in China. They are also integrated with ultra high-quality audio to provide an enhanced sound experience for wired and wireless devices like Samsung's Level On Wireless Pro headset that has active noise canceling and audio upscaling features that cost $249.99.

According to GSM Arena, Galaxy C5 is purchased in the online store of Samsung China with the price tag of 2200 yuan ($331) for the 32 GB variant and 2400 yuan ($361) for the 64 GB variant. Its color options that are available are rose gold, gold, grey, and silver.

Galaxy C5 was launched back in May. It has a 5.2-inch full high-definition Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is packed with a 2600 mAh battery. It weighs 143 grams with its dimensions 145.9 x 72 x 6.7 mm. Clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core chipset with the Adreno 405 GPU powers it.

Additionally, Samsung also has a very short promo that is now offered until today June 30, as Android Geeks reported. Buyers can get a free 64 GB microSD card and a transparent protective case together with Galaxy C5.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy C7 is purchased in local retailers across China, not yet on the Samsung China online store. It was launched back in May also. It has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is packed with a significantly larger 3300 mAh battery. Ot weighs 165 grams with its dimensions 156.6 x 77.2 x 6.7 mm. Clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 chipset with the Adreno 506 GPU powers it.

Both smartphones come with a 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, a 16-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/1.9, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies with an aperture of f/1.9. They also feature connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, and NFC.

These two smartphones were just recently certified by the Federal Communications Commission on June 21, raising hopes that the company will bring them to other markets like the United States. Reports suggest that they are made specifically for the Chinese market.
