Big Bang celebrates 10th anniversary with concert, exhibit and movie release

Big Bang announces the date of their 10th anniversary concert through official poster.

Big Bang is celebrating its 10th anniversary in August and as a treat to the fans, the South Korean boy band is holding a concert entitled "BigBang10 the Concert - 0.TO.10." The special event was announced by the group's agency, YG Entertainment, on June 29.

The director of the concert shared that fans will get to see various types of performances as well as enjoy many surprise events with the members of the band. It was added that all five members which include G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, Seungri and Daesung have actively participated in the planning and contributed lots of ideas to produce a memorable event, OSEN has learned.

Big Bang will be performing their greatest hits, from debut until the present, so the numbers will surely bring on pure nostalgia. The tickets for the Aug. 20 concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium will go on sale starting on July 14 at 8 p.m.

YG Entertainment had planned more activities to celebrate the band's anniversary. In addition to the concert, the agency is putting up an exhibit featuring the story of Big Bang.

On June 30, YG announced that they will be launching an exhibit called the "BIG BANG: The Exhibition A to Z." The show will display pictures, costumes/outfits, videos and other Big Bang memorabilia. The exhibit is going to be held at the S-Factory in Seongsu-dong, Seoul and it will run from Aug. 5 to Oct. 30.

"Our tenth anniversary is an important day for us, and since there will be more days when we can meet in the future, I hope that we will be able to laugh and sing as we grow old together," Naver News quoted G-Dragon as saying.

The "Big Bang MADE" movie is also out in the theaters already. Through the film, viewers will be able to witness how the group prepares and tour the world for their concerts.

Big Bang debuted on Aug. 19, 2006. They released numerous hit songs including "Haru Haru," "Lies," Fantastic Baby" and "Bang Bang Bang." All the members also launched their own solo careers and they each have a list of hit singles under their names.
