John Lennon is Yoko Ono's husband and was Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and George Harrison's The Beatles co-member.

John Lennon is accused of being a cheater and having problems with drug usage as a former housekeeper wrote a statement long ago and the legal document surfaced in the United Kingdom only recently.

According to Fox News, the document is five pages long and has been drafted by the lawyers of Lennon's first wife identified as Cynthia. The document dates back in 1968 and the statements were taken from the former housekeeper identified as Dorothy Jarlett. However, Jarlett can no longer attest to the claims as she has passed away last year.

The letter was reportedly found among the things she owned and it will possibly be up for auction and that it might fetch up to US$10,000.

In the letter, Jarlett reveals that she saw Lennon in bed with Yoko Ono even if he was still married to his wife Cynthia who was then out of the country. Lennon was also accused of mistreatment as he reportedly smacked their son Julian whenever he did something that irked Lennon.

Jarlett added that in the summer of 1967, she really thought that the Lennons were happy but Lennon seemed to have changed as he would no longer take Cynthia to different events and functions as often as he did before. She noted that the atmosphere changed since then and that Cynthia was most of the time depressed and unhappy.

According to New York Daily News, she also revealed in the letter that Lennon started to take drugs as she knew this because of the drugs specifically pot lying in different parts of the house. Jarlett noted that they hoped Lennon was just going through a phase and that the pot usage would stop.

John and Cynthai were married back in 1962 but divorced six years after. This was months after John admitted he slept with other women.
