According to recent leaks, the Xiaomi Mi notebook looks very much like MacBook Pro.

The Xiaomi Mi laptop has been greatly inspired from the Macbook Pro 2016. The all metal silver design with the Mi logo up front is nearly similar to Macbook Pro series.

The notebook is expected to come in three display variations: a 15.6-inch model, a 12.5-inch and a 13.3-inch model. Speculations are making the rounds that the small display variants will first hit the market.

It is expected that the specifications will be high-end and the pricing will be aggressive. It is believed that Xiaomi will target the young generation with the new device.

Rumors are doing the rounds that Xiaomi device will be available in CPU variants of Intel Skylake Core i7 and Core i5 processors.

Several reports suggest that the highest configuration model will feature 8 GB of RAM. It is said that the base model of Xiaomi Mi will carry a price tag of $450. The device will run on Windows 10.

It is expected that the upcoming laptop will be launched within Summer 2016, sometime in September. According to reports, the company will ship 1 million units of the notebook in the first year.

Meanwhile, according to a report from MacRumors, Apple will introduce 15-inch and 13-inch models of the MacBook Pros before the end of this year. The forthcoming devices will arrive lighter and slimmer than its predecessor.

The 2016 MacBook Pro is expected to carry USB-C ports and its operating system will be macOS Sierra. It is likely that the Intel Skylake processor will power the MacBook Pro 2016 that will bring notable increase in terms of performance.

The new MacBook Pro is expected to get an OLED touch bar that will replace the physical function keys, 9to5Mac reported. It is expected that the OLED touch bar will house the fingerprint reader.

Rumors are making the rounds that the 2016 MacBook Pro will feature 5K display with an integrated GPU. The display will support AR features and will provide a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels.

It is believed that the new-generation laptop will go on sale at $1,300 for the base model, with the price increasing depending on configuration.
