Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan is posing at The New York Stock Exchange Opening Bell in New York City.

The Wyatt Family is expected to face The New Day at Battleground and it could be for the WWE Tag Team championships. According to the latest rumors, The Wyatt Family may end up winning the tag titles for the first time in their careers.

Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman made their return to television on June 20 episode of Monday Night Raw after more than two months of absence. It should be noted that Wyatt suffered a leg injury that is why they were taken off television. Luke Harper is already out with a knee injury since March 21.

In their return segment, they were interrupted by the world-famous, two-time tag team champs The New Day. It was an odd feud to start with as their characters and gimmicks are complete opposites. Nonetheless, it is a dream match fans wanted and they will likely get it at Battleground.

The match has not been announced yet, but fans could expect it to come sometime next week as The New Day visits The Wyatt Family's home turf. Many think that it will be a six-man tag team match but it may end up being a title match.

According to Cageside Seats, The Wyatt Family vs. The New Day match at Battleground will be for the WWE Tag Team championship. It is noted that fans should not be surprised if the tag team champs drop the titles to the Wyatts.

Since making their main roster debuts in 2013, The Wyatt Family has not won a WWE championship gold. Harper and Rowan deserved to win the tag team titles back in 2014 but the WWE never gave them a run with it.

The beginning of the end for The New Day seems to be coming as Xavier Woods expressed fear against The Wyatt Family. In their latest segment, he walked out on Kofi Kingston and Big E. after they accepted the Wyatt's challenge to visit their backwoods cabin.

According to Daily Wrestling News, some top WWE officials thinks The New Day have reached their full potential and it could lead to their breakup. Even though some people are pushing to have them remain as a trio because of their high merchandise sales, the WWE has started planting the seeds of a split with Woods' walkout.

The New Day have held titles for more than 300 days and they are closing in on the longest reign with the WWE Tag Team championships held by Paul London and Brian Kendrick. The WWE could always give them the record as a parting gift before their split.
