Maisie Williams has taken advantage of the "Game of Thrones" filming break to explore a new hairstyle. The British actress has recently unveiled her darker colored hair during a London event.
The "Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" star attended the 2016 Serpentine Summer Party held at London's Serpentine Gallery on Wednesday, July 6 where she debuted her new look, Us Weekly magazine reported. The 19-year-old actress was photographed sporting a look that is slightly different from her "Game of Thrones" character Arya Stark.
Avid viewers of the HBO series have always associated Arya with brown hair given Williams' natural hair color. However, some fans may be taken aback with the actress' new Goth style look. Williams had her hair dyed in a blue-black shade.
For the Serpentine Summer Party that Tommy Hilfiger co-hosted, Williams matched her dark hair with a sleeveless Milly dress that featured green and black feather-like accents. She partnered her dress with a pair of strappy Christian Louboutin heels with a green and black swirl design. To accessorize, Williams carried a Louboutin printed clutch bag, also in the same green and black color theme, as well as a black lace choker from Jessica Choay's collection.
This is the first time that Williams has tried a darker hair color since she joined the HBO series, as indicated in the same report. The British star has previously been spotted with highlights to her hair while still retaining her brown hair color.
In other news, Williams took to Twitter on Wednesday, July 6, to ask her fans to support Trump Cushions, according to a report posted on The Hollywood Reporter. The actress' request is a part of the "#PutYourRumpOnTrump" campaign. Proceeds from Trump Cushion's sale of a whoopee cushion bearing U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump's face will be donated to charities or organizations "that stand to be affected should Donald become the next leader of the free world."
William' Twitter message indicated that she was supporting Trump Cushions and urged her fans to buy the said product. She also included a short video where she borrowed Arya's abilities and swapped her face with Trump.
