An Islamic State video recently surfaced and shows the mass execution Egyptian Christians. This raised a question whether the terror group is launching a holy war against the rest of the Arab nations.

The 21 victims of the latest IS public execution were reported to be simply migrant workers who traveled from Egypt to Libya in order to earn money to support their families, according to BBC.

Additionally, Shiite militias in Iran are receiving military help from the government in order to battle the ISIS which has seriously hurt the country's military strength. In Syria, the Assad regime continues its power struggle against the ISIS fighters. Jordan is also coordinating with the United States and has intensified its military operations after the ISIS fighters burned a captured Jordanian pilot, according to Fox News.

The effect of Egypt's decision to join the war against IS militants is yet to be seen but many military analyst were optimistic and hope that it would yield a positive output.

On the other hand, the White House issued a statement about the resent IS execution saying the killing, "is just the most recent of the many vicious acts perpetrated by ISIL-affiliated terrorists against the people of the region, including the murders of dozens of Egyptian soldiers in the Sinau."
