"Dance Moms" alum Maddie Ziegler was recently slammed for returning to ALDC after departing in May.
On Friday, Ziegler performed with ALDC Mini Elite dancers Elliana Walmsley and Areana Lopez at the "Dance to the Music" event.
Despite their successful performance, Ziegler went under fire for still being part of ALDC.
A few months ago, Ziegler's mom Melissa Gisoni announced that she and her daughters will no longer be part of "Dance Moms."
Gisoni also confirmed that Ziegler and her younger sister Mackenzie will no longer be part of ALDC's Junior Elite team.
After leaving the hit Lifetime reality TV show, Ziegler moved on to star in FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance: Next Generation."
However, just a few weeks after her departure, she's back dancing with her former teammates.
Some fans questioned Ziegler's consistency, while others said that she already left and should no longer be part of any performance that involves ALDC.
Meanwhile, Ziegler, long-time coac Abby Lee Miller defended Ziegler from the bashers via her Instagram account.
Over the weekend, she shared a photo of Ziegler with Walmsey and Lopez and wrote that the trio's routine was a huge success.
"They dream of following in her footsteps, but will they ever fill her shoes? This is a cute pic! So sweet, so don't look for drama! These two performed with @maddieziegler in the 2016 dance concert 'Dance to the Music...' This was an adorable picture - why so hateful? Everyone's a critic," Miller wrote.
Unfortunately, Miller didn't what criticisms she was actually referring to.
In other news, "Dance Moms" season 6 is currently on break. When the series returns this fall, at least 8 more episodes are expected to air.
Sadly, none of these episodes will feature Ziegler and Mackenzie.
"Dance Moms" season 6 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
