It is definitely not a bad romance for Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, 28, famously known as Lady Gaga. After keeping her relationship with "Chicago Fire" star Taylor Kinner private, the pop star just announced that they are engaged.
Days after Valentine's Day, Lady Gaga took to Twitter to share the grand announcement to her 44.3 million followers.
"He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!" Lady Gaga tweeted.
While the wedding date is yet to be revealed, details on their engagement were shared by Times Herald-Record executive editor Barry Lewis.
According to Lewis, Lady Gaga said "It was time" as she flashed the engagement ring around while she was eating in the restaurant at the time. The restaurant was owned by Lady Gaga's father Joe Germanotta with chef and author Art Smith.
Lewis said that two massive bodyguards accompanied Lady Gaga and Kinney. One of the bodyguards was near Lady Gaga while the other was at the entrance to the main dining room.
Lady Gaga's father then welcomed Kinney into the family after popping a bottle of champagne open to toast the couple.
Among the hit songs of Lady Gaga are "Bad Romance," "Applause," "Poker Face," "Born This Way," "G.U.Y." "Do What U Want," "Paparazzi" and "Just Dance."
On the other hand, aside from playing his role Kelly Severide in "Chicago Fire," Kinney is set to appear in "Consumed" and "Rock The Kasbah."
In 2014, Kinney also starred in "The Other Woman," which starred Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton.
