As much as the DNA of Park has just been confirmed, the actor may still get out of the mess due to insufficient evidence.

Police have confirmed the matching DNA of Park Yoochun to that of the specimen found on evidence submitted by an alleged assault victim, Lee.

The issue on Park's alleged rape case broke last June 4, when Lee's boyfriend complained to the police station on what happened between Lee and Park. Lee's camp soon presented an evidence for the police to investigate on.

According to Dispatch, prior to taking legal action, Lee met with the actor's agency C-JeS Entertainment for an apology and for compensation on what happened. C-JeS Entertainment head reportedly met with Lee on June 4 and the meeting was followed last June 7. It is said that during the latter date of meeting, Lee not only met with the agency's personnel and director but also with a member of a large Korean gang family, Baek, who happened to be the father of C-JeS Entertainment director.

Furthermore, despite all the reconciliation attempts, Lee's side still brought legal action, which became a viral topic in the internet until at present. However, it was still unclear whether what happened was a sexual assault or a consensual affair.

According to Allkpop, Lee is reportedly a female employee in an adult establishment where Park is frequently seen, and where the alleged assault has happened; however, according to her, she does not regularly work in the establishment and even denied that she received tip from Park in return for sex. Although the circumstance between Park and Lee was not clear, the former's crew members were reported to have verbally harassed Lee afterwards.

Surprisingly though, Lee's camp drop the case a few days after filing a complaint, and even said that Park may have suffered so much because of the incident. So as much as the DNA of Park has just been confirmed, the actor may still get out of the mess due to insufficient evidence.

With Lee dropping her case, there are only three more charges of the same case, which are pending now and waiting for further progress.
