"Pokemon Go" developer Niantic put in place measures to stop cheaters; however, cheaters have managed to go around such restrictions by employing ingenious ways.

Niantic CEO John Hanke has confirmed that the company is planning to open new Pokéstops and Pokémon Gyms soon. Niantic will announce numerous sponsored venues for "Pokémon Go" in the near future.

Niantic plans to add some more new Pokémon Gyms and Pokéstops, which will have numerous launches and activities, according to New York Times. These locations are badly required in the rural areas where the penetration of the game is still to be desired.

On the plus side, it could also be a lucrative opportunity for the local merchants and Niantic. The fan base of "Pokémon Go" is also expanding and hence, new locations are required to sustain the growing popularity of the game, according to Forbes

There are also reports that numerous retail stores also want to partner with Niantic in order to manufacture their merchandise. Retail stores can also partner for "Lure Modules" and other promotional activities for the gamers.

"Pokémon Go" is free to install and play. Players can make in-app purchases and buy some virtual products in order to enhance their progress. The game developer has also partnered with numerous restaurants, retail merchants and cafes where the players can play and gather numerous virtual items.

The soaring popularity of the game is being attributed to its lack of requirement of any headphones or Virtual Reality sets. Also, it lets the players walk around to discover the Pokémons and in this way, people are discovering a social connect with other "Pokémon Go" fans.

Gamers are also happy that they are able to exercise and walk while playing the "Pokémon Go." Fitness bands and pedometers are showing better statistics for the users who are playing the game.

Meanwhile, numerous mass gatherings of Pokémon fans have also been conceptualized and planned for the coming weeks. A "Pokémon Go crawl" is scheduled for July 20 in San Francisco and more than 15,000 people are interested in the event. Around 3,500 people have already confirmed that they will attend the event.
