Popularity Of Nintendo's New Augmented Reality Game Pokemon Go Drives Company Stock Up

Nintendo Co., Ltd., the world's first creator of interactive entertainment surprised the world of gaming after they announce the launching of NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) Classic Edition. The gaming console that was first released in the United States in 1985 will be seen again in store shelves in Nov.11, 2016, just perfect for holiday shopping.

Nintendo announced the news in a Facebook post. However, the new NES is going to be a smaller than the original version and does not need a cartridge but comes with 30 built in games. It will be plugged directly into a high definition TV through an HDMI cable. Along with the package is one NES Classic Controller. It can also be played by two players by purchasing the second controller.

The NES Classic Controller can also be plugged into Wii U or other Wii console to play Virtual Console NES games, making the game experience more authentic, Businesswire reported. The built in games features multiple suspend points that allows gamers to start wherever they left without needing a password. The classic game console is available at $59.99 and an extra controller costs $9.99.

Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America President and COO said that they wanted their fans of all ages to experience the Nintendo's original system and learn why they love Nintendo in the first place. "The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition is ideal for anyone who remembers playing the NES, or who wants to pass on those nostalgic memories to the next generation of gamers," he added.

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that the gaming company will be launching a new console with a codename: NX. It will be launched in March next year as reported by IGN via Nintendo's latest financial report. However, Nintendo confirmed to the publishing that NX will not be appearing in E3 but will be unveiled later this year instead.

It is remembered that the gaming company first revealed NX back in March 2015. Later that year, Tatsumi Kimishima, Nintendo President and CEO said that the new console is not a predecessor of Wii or Wii U and it will be something different.
