The "Fifty Shades Darker" cast and the crew members, including Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, have been declared safe and sound after the Bastille Day attack in Nice, France. During the attack, a truck drove through a crowd celebrating the day, killed more than 80 innocent people and injuring many more.
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker" was being shot outside of Nice just before the attack took place, according to E! Online. The crew was located 40 minutes away from the location of the attack and had wrapped up their shoot just before the incident happened.
"Back safe in my hotel room. Thanks for everyone's concern and messages," film's producer Dana Brunetti tweeted soon after the attacks. "Production has confirmed that everyone working on location in the south of France is okay. Everyone has been accounted for and is safe and sound."
Despite the shooting location, the crew and cast members are staying in a hotel outside of Nice. Following the incident, the French president Francoid Hollande has decided to extend the nationwide state of emergency by three months.
Meanwhile, rumors suggest that the feud between Johnson and Dornan continue. According to Hollywood Life, both the actor were uncomfortable filming the first installment of E.L. James' erotic trilogy. However, amidst all the issues, Dornan and Johnson became comfortable with each other and also extended their friendly relationship outside of work.
This fueled the rumors that they are in love in real life too and that Dornan is planning to seek divorce from his wife Amelia Warner. The rumors were further strengthened after news surfaced that Johnson has split with her boyfriend, Matthew Hitt. The couple broke up because of their erratic work schedule.
However, Dornan debunked all the rumors about his divorce and the speculated relationship with his on-screen partner, Johnson. He said that he loves his wife above all and everything. Meanwhile, Johnson has not yet opened up about her love life and Dornan has not spoken about his divorce rumors again.
