Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes with a fast detecting iris scanner which instantly unlocks phone.

Samsung will be unveiling its Galaxy Note 7 on Aug. 2. The launch coincides with the opening of the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Summer event on Aug. 5 to which Samsung is an official sponsor. This has a high probability of happening as its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 5, was also released during the last week of August last year.

The release was pushed a few weeks earlier than the Note 5 to take advantage of the positive reviews garnered from the S7. Samsung wants to take the opportunity so these can be carried over to the upcoming Note 7, ET News reported. The said launching date has also been reported to be Note 7's sale date as well.

The report further noted that Samsung had been pushing its releases a month earlier than recorded from its previous devices in the past three years. The Galaxy Note 4 and Note 5 were released in Sept. 26, 2014 and Aug. 21, 2015 respectively. On the other hand, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S5 were released in March 11, 2016, April 10, 2015 and April 11, 2014 respectively.

As of the moment, the Korean-tech company has been reported to secure supplies to partners in preparation for the Aug. 2 launching, although this may indicate availability only for its home market, which is Korea. It has been announced before that the Galaxy Note 7 launching will take place at a main launch event in New York City with satellite events happening in London and Rio de Janeiro.

It is expected that six variants for the upcoming Note 7 will be made available in the United States on four major carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, according to a listing made at the Federal Communications Commissions. Approval from the FCC may indicate a wider coverage is expected in terms of the Note 7's availability.

Despite the reports and rumors, it is still up to Samsung when to confirm this date and whether it is reliable or not. For more details surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, watch the video clip below.
