WWE Draft 2016 rules, regulations and list of eligible superstars; The Undertaker not included

The WWE Draft is just around the corner and many fans are clamoring to know details about the event. The WWE obliged as it released the rules, regulations and list of eligible superstars for the upcoming draft.

In the first episode of SmackDown Live on the USA Network, the WWE Draft will take place and launch the company into its next era. The official website of the WWE released the rules and list of superstars that are eligible to be drafted.

Stephanie McMahon will have the first overall pick for Monday Night Raw. She will also have the advantage in the number of draft picks because Raw is a three-hour show. For every two picks by Shane McMahon and SmackDown Live make, Raw will get three picks.

Tag teams and stables, with the exception of The Club and The Wyatt Family, can be drafted as a team unless the brand commissioner or general manager decides to choose one member. And finally, six draft picks can be made on the NXT roster.

WWE champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, John Cena, A.J. Styles, Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton headline the top superstars available. Intercontinental champion The Miz and United States champion Rusev will be drafted with their respective real-life partners, Maryse and Lana.

Other male superstars eligible for the draft include Alberto Del Rio, Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin, Big Show, The Wyatt Family, Cesaro, Chris Jericho, Darren Young and Bob Buckland, Demon Kane, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Kalisto, Kevin Owens, Mark Henry, Neville, Sami Zayn, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Titus O'Neil and Zack Ryder.

WWE Tag Team champions The New Day headline the tag team division. Other tag teams eligible include Breezango, Enzo & Big Cass, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, Golden Truth, The Shining Stars, The Social Outcasts, The Ascension, The Dudley Boyz, The Usos and The Vaudevillains.

And finally, the women's division is headlined by WWE Women's champion Charlotte. Alicia Fox, Becky Lynch, Dana Brooke, Eva Marie, Naomi, Natalya, Paige, Sasha Banks and Summer Rae rounds up the list of eligible superstars for the draft.

According to FOX Sports, The Undertaker is not eligible to be drafted. It should be noted that there are speculations for the past several months that his relationship with Vince McMahon is deteriorating. Nonetheless, The Undertaker has not officially retired from the WWE and he is already rumored to be wrestling Cena at WrestleMania 33 next year.
