Pokemon Go Launches In The UK

"Pokémon GO" players are puzzled on how to evolve Eevee, a legendary Pokémon with a mysterious evolution power. They used to think that Eevee will just evolve randomly. However, it seems that the game community figures out how to evolve the pocket monster into Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon.

Eevee has eight evolutions and in main franchise, the players have to gather specific items or to fulfill a task to dictate on which evolution Eevee will evolve into, Tech Times reported. Players thought that they cannot manipulate the Eeveelution in "Pokémon GO." Then some theories came up like Eevee's second attack or the color of the nearest gym is some of the factors that affect the evolution, but all of them were proved wrong.

But, a 1998 "Pokémon" episode entitled "The Battling Eevee Brothers" gave an important hint to the gamers on how to manipulate Eeveelution. This is where Ash found an abandoned Eevee owned by Mikey who has three brothers. Each of his brothers owned an evolved Eevee - Ranier had Vaporeon, Pyro had Flareon and Sparky had Jolteon.

It started in a Reddit forum that was started by smithnigel who revealed the trick. He said in his post that renaming Eevee after one of the Eevee brothers will dictate on which evolution the monster will evolve. If the player wants to have Jolteon for example he should rename his Eevee Sparky.

The player has to make sure that the spelling is correct and the first character is capitalized. After saving, the game must be restarted to make sure that the changes took effect. The post also said that the trick has 100 percent success rate.

Meanwhile, hundreds of people rushed to New York's Central Park on Friday night to find their luck in catching Vaporeon, a rare Pokémon which is an Eeveelution of Eevee. Even motorists stopped to catch the monster that causes congestion of vehicles on the street, Telegraph reported.

"A Vaporeon popped up in the middle of Central Park and this happened," said Izzy Nobre in writing after posting the video.

"Pokémon GO" is Nintendo's second game that was made for smartphone gaming. It was downloaded by million users in just few days.
