'Pokemon Sun and Moon' new trailer teases new gameplay modes and other features.

The recent advertisement for "Pokémon Sun and Moon" revealed what fans should expect about Battle Royal. Now, fans should expect further information about the imminent "Pokémon" games during the August CoroCoro issue.

The latest "Pokémon Sun and Moon" trailer shows Japanese children playing the new game. From the trailer, four children battle against each other in a new mode called "Battle Royal," according to Polygon.

Previously, Pokémon combats generally involved one trainer against the other. However, with Battle Royal, four gamers engage in a four-way battle that places each trainer against each of the other three in a fierce melee. Each of the four trainers is supposed to choose three Pokémon and send one of them into battle at a time.

The battle is over at the end of any turn when all the Pokémon of a trainer faint. Gamers are ranked and the winner is declared according to the number of Pokémon he defeated and the number of Pokémon remaining to play.

The peek reveals two battle modes - a free-for-all combat and a two-on-two one, wherein a player chooses another player to collaborate with in fighting another pair of players. It is rumored that Eevee may not sport a new evolution this time around because it is clear that the pocket monster is a normal form throughout the teaser.

A player has a chance to ride a Tauros. The trailer as well displayed two new Pokémon that were recently unveiled - Mimikkyu and Kiteruguma - along with their 3D versions.

Meanwhile, the Japanese magazine, CoroCoro, hinted that it would bring more information about the new models of the game in the August issue. According to Siliconera, a guide for the Southern Island of Alola region will feature in the upcoming CoroCoro issue, slated for publication on Aug. 12.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" is scheduled for a release on Nov, 18. Stay tuned for more information as soon as they trickle in.
