A recent list revealed the strongest Pokemons among its type. The record showed Alakazam and Snorlax with the highest "Damage Per Second" ratings in terms of quick move and charge attack.
In a list released by a Pokemon Wiki site, several offensive Pokemon were featured as toughest according to their type. There are around 17 types listed which includes the Dragon type, Bug, Electric, Fairy, Fighting, Fire, Flying, Ghost, Grass, Ground, Ice, Normal, Psychic, Rock, Steel, Water and Poision, Game Press posted.
Dragonite is the strongest offensive Pokemon for the Dragon type, while Electrode and Parasect are for the Electric and Bug type, respectively. For the Ghost and Ground, Gengar and Golem top the list, correspondingly.
In terms of quick move, Alakazam of the Pyschic type has the highest DPS of 32.9 with its Psycho Cut move. On the other hand, Snorlax of the normal type runs first in terms of charge move with a DPS of 40.06 using Body Slam.
Other Pokemons included in the list is Muk for the Poison type, Vaporeon for Water, Magneton for Steel, Cloyster for ice, Tangela for Grass, Pidgeot for Flying, Charizard for Fire, Primeape for Fighting and Wigglytuff for Fairy.
Meanwhile, in terms of "Combat Power" number or CP number, which is a measure of attack for each Pokemon, with a higher value giving a more powerful attack, a separate list was also released. The list drew its CP number from the highest level trainer of level 40 with full individual values.
The water-type Pokemon Magikarp comes in lowest with at only 262.70, while base Pokemon such as Caterpie and Zubat have CP numbers below 1,000. Mewtwo is highest among all with a CP number at 4,144.75 with Dragonite coming in at second place with a 3,500.06 rating.
The Combat Power rating deviates from the previous Pokemon game franchise which has separate values for attack, special attack, defense, special defense and speed. Other lists are available in the said Pokemon Wiki Site. It also listed other rankings for the Quick Move and Charge Move which was sorted in terms of each Pokemon's DPS.
