Actresses Jennifer Saunders (L) and Joanna Lumley attend the 'Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie' New York premiere at SVA Theater on July 18, 2016 in New York City.

All set to hit the big screen this weekend, "Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie" will let the audiences refresh and rejuvenate their youth once again.

The story revolves around two middle-aged British fashion scenesters, Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone. The millennials still enjoy their life as they used to do when they were young. They still partied all night and swilled champagne while having their breakfast.

The reboot of the BBC series "Absolutely Fabulous" into a movie is going to rock the silver screen as it is not only targeted to those who are older now, but also those who are aging. Audiences who lack hope will surely get a new reason to live and be lively after they watch the movie. The characters do not leave any chance of being involved in youth activities at least until when they are left short of money.

According to the Washington Post, the BBC series that has inspired the movie shot the small screen for the first time in 1992 and was a big hit in the United States. Actress Jennifer Saunders, who role-played Edina, and actress Joanna Lumley, to play Patsy did complete justice to the characters for the series and now they are all prepared to continue as the same for the big screen as well.

"Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie" has retained all the basic elements that constituted the strength of the BBC series. Even here, the audiences will find Edina and Patsy very self-absorbed. The former badgers Edina's sensible daughter for being too serious. Both the characters look clueless as they roll their eyes on social issues discussed by someone. Julia Sawalha is seen playing Saffron, Edina's daughter.

Fans might have some doubts if the movie will be as entertaining and fun as the series.

The movie opens with the best friends blundering into a fashion show. New York Times reported that Saunders created the series in the most amusing ways and enjoyed the outstanding response from audiences, which led to the show continuing until 2012.

"Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie" is expected to spread the same magic on the big screen as it did on the small one.
