"Style" hitmaker Taylor Swift was spotted with Kanye West in New York City on Feb. 17, Tuesday evening. The two had a low-key dinner together at the NYC's British and Italian restaurant Spotted Pig, New York Daily News reported.
One week before this, West said he would collaborate with Swift. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest after the 2015 Grammys, Kim Kardashian's husband said, "We're definitely going to go in. I'm down to get in the studio and work."
In 2009, West rushed to the stage at MTV's Video Music Awards and grabbed the microphone from Swift while she was giving her acceptance speech for Best Female Video saying he felt the award should have gone to Beyonce.
"Yo, Taylor. I'm really happy for you, I'ma let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!" West said.
After the microphone grabbing incident, West got involved in several controversies. Before he and Kardashian got married in 2014, he reportedly begged Anna Wintour to feature him and his then soon-to-be wife to be featured in the April 2014 cover of Vogue, which was photographed by Annie Leibovitz.
Rumors about the Vogue cover and the Kardashian-West couple started to circulate when the couple was spotted in Manhattan in June 2013 dining at Wintour's house. West reportedly asked Wintour if his then fiancée could be featured in the 2014 Valentine Vogue cover as a wedding gift. In October 2013, the couple announced that they were engaged, Daily Mail reported.
Wintour has denied that West did beg for the Vogue cover.
