British singer Adele does not only have a golden voice but also a golden touch. Her singles and albums are hits and bestsellers. In 2015, her “25” album was the most popular Christmas gift in Britain.

Not many professional singers attempt to record her songs because of the unique quality of Adele’s voice difficult to match. However, CNN reported that a British assistant nurse who works in a hospice played her version of Adele’s "Make You Feel My Love" and the video has gone viral.

Emma Young gave an impromptu performance of the song on July 22 at the St. Helena Hospice, and a hospice staff filmed and posted it on the hospice’s Facebook page. The posting reads: “One of our Assistant Nurses, Emma Young, revealed her hidden talent this afternoon and filled our Inpatient Unit in Highwoods with beautiful melodies. She really brought a smile to everyone's faces on such a beautiful Friday!”

On Facebook, it has been viewed 80,000 times. The same video has been shared on YouTube and has gotten at least 1,000 hits after a few hours.

Young shared that she sings whenever she could even on her shifts because it helps keep the patients in Colchester, England, who are suffering from life-limiting ailments, quiet. “It really helps to make patients and families smile and creates such a nice atmosphere,” Young said.

Studies have shown that music help people with terminal illness or chronic diseases deal with their anxieties. Sharon Jack, one of the hospice patients, described Young’s singing as very uplifting and helps brighten up her afternoons.

On the hospice’s Facebook page, Lesley Jean wrote that it is not only Young but “All those nurses in the St. Helena Hospice are little angels.” But she added, “This little angel also needs a recording contract.”

Besides Young’s soothing music, Joan Heaps noted that all the hospice’s staff “are so caring nothing is too much trouble.”

Michelle Crossley Gray wondered why no one has offered Young a singing contract. She though Young sang the song even better than Adele. She wrote, “Let’s keep on sharing until somebody snaps her up for a singing contract.”
