Aaron Rodgers has finally addressed the comments made by his young brother and "The Bachelorette" contestant Jordan Rodgers about their estranged relationship on the ABC series.
During an interview with WISN 12 News on July 26, Tuesday, the Super Bowl MVP broke his silence after his 27-year-old brother opened up to Jojo Fletcher on a date that he and Aaron haven't spoken to each other in years.
In his interview, Aaron, 32, admitted that he has not yet seen the show but wished his brother the best ahead of the final next week.
When asked about his brother's take on their distanced relationship, the 32-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback had this to say: "As far as those kinds of things go, I've always found that it's a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I'm just ... I'm not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition."
The NFL was also missing when Fletcher visited Jordan's home in Chico, Calif. to meet his family in last week's hometown dates.
Brother Luke Rodgers also told JoJo that the family missed Aaron but don't like talk about it a lot. The eldest of the Rodgers brothers also expressed his hopes of the family becoming complete again, according to E! News.
In the episode, Jordan also said that he misses his estranged brother. He added that it would have been nice to introduce JoJo not only to his parents and sibling but also to Aaron because
"I miss my brother a lot -- especially in moments like this because my family means so much. JoJo is everything to me right now and they know that, and they can see that."
Jordan is one of the final two suitors on the reality show and will compete with Robby Hayes for JoJo Fletcher's final rose when "The Bachelorette" finale airs on Aug. 1, Monday at 8 p.m.
