(L-R) Actors Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tom Holland, Tony Revolori, Zendaya and director Jon Watts from Marvel Studios’ 'Spider-Man: Homecoming” attend the San Diego Comic-Con International 2016 Marvel Panel in Hall H on July 23, 2016 in San Diego, Cal

While the Comic-Con event in San Diego came to an end, there was someone who could not get over it. It was none other than the Spiderman of the "Spiderman: Homecoming" flick.

The announcement of the movie release was made at the event, which is scheduled for 2017 along with a revelation that the protagonist will be fighting the Vulture this time. The Spiderman was discovered spinning his web at the baggage claim area of Terminal 2 of the San Diego International Airport. The Los Angeles Times called the Spider-Man a soup-er hero and not a super-hero.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" was introduced with its first look revealed at the Comic-Con event. The movie is still in its production phase. However, at the event the new and big villain was confirmed, slamming all speculations regarding the choice of star cast for the movie.

The teaser released earlier featured the web-spinning creature ready to fight the new concept art Vulture. Reports are that Michael Keaton will be playing the role of the villain in the movie, but there was no official announcement relating to his role-play as the Vulture. At the event, it was revealed that the story will focus on Peter Parker, the protagonist, who is a high school student but he works secretly on his web fluid during his science classes.

It is the first time when Marvel Studios will feature a standalone Spiderman movie after it signed a co-production agreement with Sony Pictures. There are several images that have been released by the production house over the past weeks. These photos include that of Peter's costume. The Spider-Man: Homecoming stars include Tom Holland as Peter along with Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Tony Revolori, Donald Glover, Bokeem Woodbine and Tyne Daly.

Game Spot reported that the Spider-Man model that has been identified at the baggage claim area will stand like that at the airport until Sunday.

The teaser trailer released at Comic-Con San Diego is here.
