A first look at "Star Wars Rebels" season 3 from its official trailer.

It has been previously confirmed that Grand Admiral Thrawn will be included in the upcoming season of "Star Wars Rebels." Meanwhile, Bendu will also be introduced as a new character with no hint whether he will be on the side of the good or the evil.

Lucas Film has been more open about the "Star Wars Rebel" series after the Star Wars Celebration took place in London a few weeks ago. During the event, when the series premiered the first two episodes of its franchise, it opened a lot of inquiries and possibilities of what will included the upcoming season.

During the celebration, Dave Filoni re-confirmed the inclusion of Thrawn in the installment saying, "When we start, I always want to know where it's all going. If we bring [Thrawn] in, we have to think reasonably about, 'Where is he?' There are any number of reasonable answers as simple as, 'He's on a Star Destroyer," io9 Gizmodo reported.

He also added they already have a path figured out for the said character saying he would not bring him back if he does not have something in store. The addition of Thrawn may have stirred excitement among fans, but now that Bendu has also been confirmed to join the series, more thrill may be added to the upcoming game.

Some may think Bendu will be either introduced as a Jedi or a Sith, but initially, the said character will debut as a neutral character with no indications on which side he will take. Other reports suggest that Bendu will already be introduced as a villain.

The said character is a giant creature who will help begin the connection between Kanan and the force, helping Kanan regain his vision. Bendu refers to himself as a "the middle" as he is neither in the side of the Jedis or the Siths. His use of force is regarded as a natural way of being rather than a learned skill, Crave Entertainment reported.

Now that both characters will most likely appear in the game, fans may be more than delighted once it is released. To gain more insight on the upcoming "Star Wars Rebels" season 3, watch the video clip below.
