The latest details and possible spoilers for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will feature Ghost Rider, more classic Inhuman's and Daisy Johnson's "darkside" in the series.
It was during the 2016 San Diego Comic Con event that Marvel Studios confirmed that Ghost Rider will be coming to "Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4, but the character will not be Johnny Blaze or his classic hell cycle, but instead the new Spirit of Vengeance will be Robbie Reyes.
Marvel showcased a teaser trailer for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 featuring the flaming chains of Ghost Rider. Robbie Reyes will be played by "Matador" actor Gabriel Luna and it will based on his comic book counterpart having owned a muscle car possessed by a serial killer, Blastr reported.
Aside from Ghost Rider, Marvel also plans to have more classic Inhuman characters in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 as executive producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen talked about how the delayed "Inhumans" movie affects the status of the Marvel TV side.
Whedon stated that thety have a "little" freedom in doing Inhuman characters since the focus of the show has more emphasis on Inhumans and will like to focus more on that in the course of season 4, Screenrant reported. Marvel fans will likely see other Inhuman character such as Black Bolt, Medusa or Karnak in the show.
The Inhumans have been the center piece of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and are often dealt with fear and mistrust by society due to their powers.
Phil Coulson(Clark Gregg) and his team will likely deal with increasing Inhuman actvity during the events of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4.
Lastly, TV series star Chloe Bennet talks about Daisy Johnson/Quake and her journey of independence after she left S.H.I.E.L.D. and became a rogue agent. Bennet stated that Daisy will be "out of shape" physically due to her "abusing" her powers in a way to survive and help everyone.
Bennet added that Daisy's has a darkside to unleash and is still in mourning due to the death of Lincoln Campbell/Sparkplug (Luke Mitchell) in season 3. She pushes his friends away as a means of protecting them because she feels like she is the cause of every problem happening to them.
Tanchareon teased that Daisy will likely encounter Ghost Rider at some point during "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will air on Sept. 20 on ABC.
