Broken Matt Hardy is one of the most entertaining characters in wrestling at the moment.

Broken Matt Hardy has been one of the best wrestling characters this year and it has given life to TNA Wrestling on Pop TV. However, the latest rumors suggest that Hardy might be returning to the WWE and feud with Bray Wyatt.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Hardy talked about his fondness for The Eater of Worlds. He revealed that he wants to return to WWE and have the opportunity to delete Wyatt in a match, just like what he did to Brother Nero.

"I would love, one day down that road, to show up in WWE and have a match with the Bray Wyatt. I would love to bring him to my battlefield and delete him-that would be my honor," Hardy said.

The two characters have similarities despite being from different companies. Hardy's broken persona gained more steam this month when he defeated his brother, Jeff, in a Final Deletion Match that was done at the Hardy compound in North Carolina.

It involved a cinematic-style presentation just like in Lucha Underground that was talked about by the wrestling community for weeks. Even the WWE ended up making a similar video with The Wyatt Family battling The New Day at the Wyatt's own compound.

Many fans praised and blasted The Final Deletion but the Broken Matt Hardy character is the best gimmick of Matt's career. With the wrestling community talking about him, the WWE might come calling soon.

The WWE has been in contact with many of its former talents and they are interested in bringing them back. Adding Broken Matt to the SmackDown brand will be a good move for the company as they can make use of his popularity. Also, Jeff has been open to returning to the WWE where he wants to end his career.

If ever Broken Matt returns to the WWE, they can make use of a current Twitter beef with Wyatt to start the feud. According to Cageside Seats, Wyatt has backstage heat for interacting with Matt which resulted in The Wyatt Family breaking up.

However, it has not been confirmed whether or not that was the reason Braun Strowman ended up on Monday Night Raw while Wyatt and Erick Rowan are on SmackDown Live. Nevertheless, a Broken Matt Hardy-Bray Wyatt feud is something that fans can dream, for now.
