Pangu Semi-Tethered iOS 9.3.3 Jailbreak for 64-bit iPhones, iPad Released: Important Things to Know

Users who have been waiting on an English version of the Pangu jailbreak tool will not wait any longer. As opposed to an all-encompassing tool that runs entirely on Windows, Pangu in collaboration with Cydia creator, Saurik, have provided a different way for jailbreaking authentic iOS devices.

Here are 10 easy steps on how to jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 using Pangu English jailbreak tool:

  1. Users should download the Pangu app (NvwaStone_1.0.ipa) from Pangu official website.
  2. Users should then download the Cydia Impactor tool, which is compatible with their specific operating system, from Cydia Impactor official website.
  3. Connect the iPhone to the computer.
  4. Run the Cydia Impactor tool, make sure it recognizes the iOS device, and drop the Pangu NvwaStone_1.0.ipa file on the Cydia Impactor tool.
  5. An Apple Developer Warning box will appear. The user should click OK.
  6. When asked, the user should enter his Apple ID email address and password. In case this is a regular non-developer Apple ID, the Pangu app will be available to run for 7 days. However, paid Apple developers can access the app for a full year.
  7. The Pangu app appears on the iOS device, but the user will have to go to Settings>General>Device Management, and then tap the Developer App email linked to the Apple ID. Click Trust twice to enable the app to run.
  8. The user should then return to the Home screen, launch the Pangu app on the iOS device, and click OK when requested for access to Notifications.
  9. Click on Start on the Pangu app and lock the device when prompted. The user will get a notification, followed by a respring.
  10. As soon as the respring is done, unlock the device and Cydia will be seen on the Home screen.

Based on the steps above, the updated jailbreak method depends on downloading the Pangu app, signing, and installing through an updated Cydia Impactor tool. The Cydia Impactor tool works on Windows, Mac, or Linux machines, besides requiring an Apple ID to sign the Pangu app successfully.

However, there are two limitations associated with this jailbreak technique. First, the Apple ID can only work for a certificate for a limited number of devices. Second, the certificate expires in 7 days, wherein the user should follow the guide to install the jailbreak IPA again.
