Showrunner Greg Nicotero teases exciting events in 'The Walking Dead' Season 7.

AMC has released additional photos for the upcoming season of "The Walking Dead." Some of the photos features new looks from Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Ezekiel, portrayed by Khary Phayton. Meanwhile, rumors suggest Morgan's character will be killing another two individuals this season.

It can be recalled that the past season introduced a new nemesis in the form of Negan who killed a fan favorite by beating with his baseball bat. The character which was killed off in season 6 is expected to be revealed when the next season airs.

Avid fans of the show were able to notice the least appearances during shooting schedules were from the two actors, Steven Yeun and Michaled Cudlitz, Independent reported. This has become a root of speculations that both Yeun and Cudlitz's characters will be killed off this season. The culprit for the crime is pointed towards Negan who happens to be a newly introduced villain disrupting the situation of the existing characters.

The same report added that the show tried to shoot 11 different endings for the last season in order to keep everything under the wrap. On the other hand, Yeun's absence can be pointed towards the actor's participation in filming "Okja," which may have eaten up his time for "The Walking Dead."

For Cudlitz's case, the same report suggested the actor's less appearances may have been a product of the show's natural way of featuring a character in an episode, and making it appear again after three installments. The trailer released during the SDCC was used as an example where the first episode showcased the looming danger that awaits Tara, while the third episode seemed to focus on newly introduced community, The Kingdom.

The upcoming season of "The Walking Dead" will debut on Oct. 23 at 9 pm ET. It will follow the same scheme of previous seasons where the 16 episodes where split into two parts, Coming Soon reported. The report added its first eight episodes will premiere on Oct. 23, with the last eight airing on February 2017.
