"America's Got Talent" season 11 contestant Jon Dorenbos recently advanced to the semi-finals round of the hit NBC series.

Following his successful stint last week, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said that he's rooting for one of his players.

While speaking with Philly, Pederson said, "He represents us, the organization, this city on that show like a professional. Obviously his talent is something that when football's said and done for him, I think he's definitely got a career in Las Vegas or Atlantic City or wherever. I'm pulling for him and excited to see where he can go."

Meanwhile, Pederson said that Dorenbos will continue to be part of the team. The professional athlete is more than willing to juggle between the two worlds.

"We've just got to see. Obviously he went through this show and he'll be back tomorrow for the conditioning test. We'll just go day by day and just see where it ends up the next couple of days," he said.

Following his successful routine in "America's Got Talent," Dorenbos took his thoughts to Twitter to thank all of his supporters and fans.

"Thank you America! Love you all for your support! Let's do this!!!" he wrote.

Dorenbos' team also tweeted him a congratulatory message.

"Thank you, #Eagles fans for sending @JonDorenbos to the @nbcagt semifinals. Now, Jon. Get back to Philly it's time for the #EaglesCamp," the tweet read.

In other news, another standout fact about Dorenbos is his backstory. As a young boy, the magician's mom was killed by his own father.

He then grew up with his relatives, but has always felt that his mom was with him every time he made magic.

"America's Got Talent" season 11 airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
