Latest ‘Pokemon Sun,Moon’ trailer reveals old Pokemon Alola versions, Z-Moves, new Pokemon, Poke Ride

The Pokemon company reveals The Island Passage, a Rite of Passage for all trainers who go through the Alola region.

The latest trailer for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has revealed old Pokemon having Alola forms, new Z-Moves, new Pokemon, and the new Poke Ride feature. The game has also revealed a new quest called The Rite of the Island Challenge.

According to the official website of the handheld video game, there will be old Pokemon that will have Alola versions in the island of Alola. It will have ice-type versions of Vulpix, Sandshrew, and Sandslash. Exeggutor will also get a new form, which is a mysterious giraffe or palm tree hybrid.

The video game's new trailer, which can be viewed below, revealed six new Pokemon, and each of them has their own unique evolutions. Gumshoos and Mudbray transform into Yungoos and Mudsdale when they reach a certain level. The Oricoio is a dancing bird that has different transformations or styles, which will depend on the Alolan island it is on.

The Pokemon company revealed the Poke Ride, which enables a special Pokemon to assist the player cross terrain that they cannot go through. This is not the same move as the famous Fly or Surf, but it will be a specific to the special Pokemon that will help the player in different situations. These Pokemons cannot be caught and join their team.

The Z-Moves were also introduced by the company. These are new special moves that players can use once per battle, but they need to follow the specific requirements to use them. They will need to earn a Z-Ring first, which they can place the Z-Crystals.

The Pokemon and the player must have the same Z-Crystal to use the Z-Move against an opponent. The Pokemon will only have one Z-Move per elemental type.

According to another post on the official website of the video game, players will be able to try out The Rite of the Island Challenge. The region calls this challenge as the players' rite of passage, and it appears to be its main quest.

The players' trainers will be sent to complete different trials according to each island's theme, and will face off different opponents. These opponents will be special Totem-form Pokemon and Kahunas, which are each island's boss trainer.
