“iZombie” Season 3 air date has been marked for 2017.

While there is still no news about the premiere date of "iZombie" Season 3, fans have a good deal to feast on, courtesy the revelations that came out during the panel discussion at TVLine's Comic-Con.

The cast and showrunners of The CW television series gave out interesting details about the upcoming season, TV Line reported. Executive producer Rob Thomas revealed that Liv's tragic streak of dead and undead boyfriends will end this year as she will have a love interest, who will not die.

However, he added that the relationship will not end because of death, which means it will end, for sure. Angus will also be back to trouble Blaine in a three-episode arc and there is some major father-son drama in store.

Thomas also disclosed that "iZombie" Season 3 will have a bigger problem in the form of Vivian and Fillmore Graves. Vivian will persist with his Season 2 question as to which side Liv will take when the humans come to exterminate the zombies. Thomas said that a large part of the third season will revolve around Liv figuring out the answer to the question.

As for Major coming back into her life, it is not happening anytime soon. Though Mclver admitted that she would love the pair to work out ultimately, right now, there is bigger fish to fry. She also said that they share a precarious friendship, Entertainment Weekly reported.

In the meantime, she might have a pairing with Peyton. Diane Ruggiero joked during the interview that they (Rose Mclver and Aly Michalka) are fine stresses and their chemistry is really good. Adding to his banter was Mclver, who said that she would be down for a woman as one of Liv's love interest.

It sis not sure whether the teasers indicate a lesbian romance on the television series. Well, fans would have to wait for that, but what is assured is Liv, featuring as a dominatrix and also joining Clive to solve a case in one episode. The said episode will follow up with Peyton prosecuting the case in the next episode. Thomas unveiled this and also said that it is a huge and cool thing for the creators.
