Tigers Attack Bear

Despite being used to visitors, zoo animals are basically beasts which would kill a prey, whether animal or human, given the opportunity.

And such an opportunity came for a pack of tigers in a wildlife park in China when a huge bear strayed into their area. Dailystar reported that the big cats cornered the bear which had to stand on its hind legs and fight the predators.

However, the number of tigers was too much for the lone bear which was knocked to the ground by one of the tigers and other tigers start taking bites out of their large prey.

While all of these was going on, park visitors witnessed the gory scenes, with some of them screaming in horror at the sight they were watching. Park rangers arrived, but they were too late to save the bear from the savage tigers.

Someone took a video of the whole spectacle and posted the clip on LiveLeak, a video-sharing site. Since it was posted, the video has become viral with more several thousand views.

The incident happened around three weeks after a tiger mauled to death a woman at the Badaling Wildlife World animal park near Beijing. A woman is seen leaving a car when the tiger leaps from behind and drags the victim. A man and a woman from the same vehicle ran after the tiger to rescue the woman. It was the second woman who attempted to rescue the first woman that was killed by the beast, while the first woman suffered injuries, reported CNN.
