2PM's Taecyeon, 27, admitted that his first kiss scene with co-star Kim So Hyun, 17, was challenging. The duo currently stars as Park Bong-Pal and Kim Hyun-Ji tvN's "Let's Fight Ghost," respectively.

During the drama's press conference on Aug. 8, Monday, the singer-turned-actor revealed what it is like to film several romantic scenes with the 17-year-old actress. Taecyeon confessed that he had a hard time doing the kissing scene with Kim, considering their 10-year age difference.

"I'm trying to not feel anything [when filming kissing scenes for the drama]," Soompi quoted Taecyeon as saying. "There was a kiss scene right at the beginning. I think our acting was natural."

The "Who Are You?" actor proceeded to say that he considered the romantic scenes as a major impediment that both he and Kim had to deal with. He added, "Since we passed a huge obstacle in the beginning, everything else seems minor in comparison."

The first episode of tvN's "Let's Fight Ghost," which aired on July 11, saw a rather quarreling relationship between Park Bong-Pal and Kim Hyun-Ji. The latter, who died in a car accident and became a wandering ghost, was seen persuading the former to kiss her after an unplanned lip-smack made her remember some memory of her past.

Park Bong Pal, who can see and interact with ghosts, give in to Kim Hyun-Ji's request. It is worth noting that after the tragic incident, the latter can now see how ghosts were killed, allowing her to help Park Bong-Pal in sending them to the underworld.

Park Bong Pal and Kim Hyun-Ji's inseparable relationship will soon lead to romance, as the story develops from the tenth and eleventh episodes, onwards. Helmed by PD Park Joon-Hwa and Myung Hyun-Woo, "Let's Fight Ghost" also stars Kwon Yul, Kim Sang-Ho, David Lee, Lee Do-Yeon, Baek Seo-E, Kang Ki-Young, Yoon Seo-Hyun, and Jung Ji-Soon.

In early July, 2PM member Taecyeon already announced that the 16-episode drama would be his last venture before he enlists in the Korean military sooner or later in 2017. He then revealed his plans to continue working actively this year before he goes into his two-year mandatory military service.

"I think of 'Let's Fight Ghost' as my last project before I enlist in the army next year," All K-pop quoted Taecyeon as saying before a group of local reporters. "I am working very diligently on filming. Please look forward [to the drama]."
